Foley Serves as Underwriters’ Counsel of the Fourth Ward Redevelopment Authority’s $30M Inaugural Bond Sale

·¬ÇÑÉçÇø; Lardner LLP served as counsel to HilltopSecurities in its capacity as lead underwriter for the Fourth Ward Redevelopment Authority’s first bond sale. The underwriting syndicate also included Loop Capital Markets.
Proceeds from the sale of $30 million in Tax Increment Contract Revenue Bonds will be used for financing project costs included in the Authority’s Zone Financing Plan.Â
The Authority, a non-profit local government corporation, was authorized for creation by the city of Houston in 1999 to promote, develop, encourage, and maintain housing, educational facilities, employment, commerce, and economic development.
The Foley team was led by of counsel Ronald Green.
